first full dayish @ nyc @ 5:34 PM
new york city. the city of all worlds.
technically, today was the first full day here.
the areas outside of manhatten are incomparable with manhatten itself; which i will be laying my eyes on tommorow. overall, the trip was pretty smooth-- with the exception of a major snowstorm at the later half of the trip. shopping at the outlet mall(s) was amazing; so many good deals, except there wasn't enough time to stop by AND my mom's major retarded "standards". Anyhow, settling down.. tommorow's the big day! i can't wait. picture snap snap heh

whilst looking around for online deals and fashion magazine subscriptions, i came upon this perfume quiz on the marie clarie site.

You might like Fresh Fragrances
Energetic, low-maintenance, and fun are three words that people typically use to describe you. You're equal parts grown-up tomboy and flirty heartbreaker. This indicates you need an effervescent sparkling scent to match your outgoing personality. "Fresh" scents are loaded with zesty fruits, such as lemon, lime, and grapefruit, plus crisp greens, such as fresh-cut grass and violet leaves. Some also have refreshing water-based aromas, reminiscent of the beach.L'Eau d'IsseyIssey MiyakeBeachBobbi BrownAu Thé VertBvlgari
You might also like Floral Fragrances
Classic taste and style are your hallmarks, and we're betting that you're often described as elegant, charming, and sweet. So it seems only right for you to wear a scent that is as timeless as you. Floral fragrances, which are often associated with romance and femininity, can feature a single bloom or contain an entire bouquet of jasmine, rose, white peony, gardenia, and/or tuberose. Depending on what other aromas they're mixed with, these fragrances can be very flowery, soft and powdery, light and fruity, or even sweet and spicy.StellaStella McCartneyJ'AdoreChristian DiorRomance Always YourRalph Laurenmaybe i'll give those a go. karmaloop.com was having a promotion code for $20 off a min $20 purchase. I missed it by a few hours. :(

@ 4:14 PM
Shopping afterschool today turned out to be unexpectedly fulfilling. I can contently cross out 'peacoat' and 'sweats' off my list now-- or not (hehe). Lunchtime theatre was quite entertaining, but not as spectacular as the scenes we saw last year by the 12's drama majors. Adam and Eve, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Winter stuff are being dug out, slowly, and the dry winter air has been irritating my skin and my hair. I need to get a real hair salon cut soon, masks, exfoliants, and order my straightener asap. Because honestly, taking care of yourself is the most important thing. What boyfriends? What true love? What relationships? How can you even speak of those, when you don't even truely understand yourself. Yes, we do get lonely. Yes, I by my own lonesome pisses me off sometimes. But really, if the base is not strong, the tower will always be shaky. If such an emotional requiring task starts off wrong, you will never receive happiness. I'm not against it. If it comes, it comes and I'll embrace it as an experience to open my world. If it doesn't, it's my destiny then. No need to get so worked up. Kay :)
Time to make a new email account for school, woohoo for Gmail and its extremely organizational mail sorting services!

the worldwide web is an amazing place to find great gifts for yourself, your friends, or your family. recently, i was sorting through my jumble of bookmarks when i found
this site. i quickly browsed through multitudes of creative and aspirational objects ranging from jewellery to vintage satchels from the 1800's. though the prices are a bit high, these are unique pieces of art- literally.
